How baobun started
baobun started in 2025, when a friend asked Kelvin for a small utility bot for her Discord server. Kelvin enjoyed writing Discord bots at the time and gladly helped her. Eventually, Kelvin wanted to make it into something bigger, so he asked Ender to come on board and help with the project. Together they grew it into the large and highly customizable baobun it is today.

I was excited to help Kelvin with the project. I had also been making small Discord bots for a while, and I wanted to help make a bot that communities could use and enjoy. We started with the original idea, then kept building and adding features that communities needed.
