    Manage

    Create and manage responses.

<> means an argument is required, [] means it's optional

A response is a saved message — text, embeds and components — that other modules reuse. Giveaway messages, join pings, leaderboards and buttons all point at a response by name.

    List responses

Show every response in this server. Running /response on its own does the same thing.

    Syntax
    /response list

    View a response

Preview a saved response by name.

    Syntax
    /response view <name>
    ArgumentTypeRequiredDescription
nametextrequiredThe name of the response you want to view.

    Create a response

Add a new named response you can reuse elsewhere.

See Response types to compare Embeds and Components V2.

    Syntax
    /response create <name> <type>
    ArgumentTypeRequiredDescription
nametextrequiredThe name you want to give the response.
typechoicerequiredWhich kind of response to build — Classic embed for a traditional message with an embed, or Component V2 for Discord's newer component layout.

Counts toward your server's response limit. See Premium.

    Edit a response

Open the editor for one part of an existing response.

    Syntax
    /response edit <name> <part>
    ArgumentTypeRequiredDescription
nametextrequiredThe name of the response you want to edit.
partchoicerequiredWhich part to edit: Message, Embed, or Action row.

    Reset a response

Clear a response's content back to an empty state, keeping the name.

    Syntax
    /response reset <name>
    ArgumentTypeRequiredDescription
nametextrequiredThe name of the response you want to reset.

    Delete a response

Permanently remove a response. This cannot be undone.

    Syntax
    /response delete <name>
    ArgumentTypeRequiredDescription
nametextrequiredThe name of the response you want to delete.

Responses support variables such as {user.mention} and {server.name}, so one response can render differently for every member.
