Time
How to write durations for delays, timers, and anything else baobun schedules.
Any argument that asks for a duration — duration, delay, delete_after — takes the same short
format: a number followed immediately by a unit.
Units
| Unit | Accepted as |
|---|---|
| Seconds | s, second, seconds |
| Minutes | m, minute, minutes |
| Hours | h, hour, hours |
| Days | d, day, days |
| Weeks | w, week, weeks |
| Years | y, year, years |
Combining units
Chain units together to build a longer duration. 7d12h is seven days and twelve hours.
| Correct | Incorrect |
|---|---|
50s | 50 seconds |
10m | 10minutes |
7d | 7 day |
12h5m | 12hours 5 minutes |
1w2d | 1w 2 day |
1y2w20m | 1y 2 week 20 minute |
Stick to the short forms when combining units. They are the form used everywhere in these docs, and they are what the examples above accept.
